- 12th November 2008 - GS1 EPCglobal launches the third phase of the Transportation and Logistics Pilot Program Global Transport and Logistics Pilot Program will show end-to-end visibility between Japan and the Netherlands based upon GS1 EPCglobal standards.
- 23rd October 2008 - The EPCglobal UHF Gen2 Version 1.2.0 Standard was ratified by the EPCglobal Board of Governors and supports some critical functionality that will help drive further deployment of RFID tagging at item level.
